Several agencies and counties are working to alert landowners about a plant called Sericea Lespedeza. A "Noxious Weed" in Kansas, this invasive plant may soon be labeled a "Noxious" weed in your county. (Currently, this weed is county added in the following counties: Gage and Pawnee in Nebraska)

Keynote speakers will be on hand to help answer any questions landowners might have. Current speakers include, Mitch Coffin, Chris Kelly, and Paul Hay. At workshops, you will be able to see for yourself the problem this invader is capable of causing. You will also learn how to indentify it, how to control it, and why you should act now.
