With the first little cold spell we had in October, you would have figured that we would be cold in November. However the Five Rivers WMA area reached a new temperature record for the month of November, a whopping 84 degrees on the 8th.
The big question is, are the weeds dead? Even though much of the area might have seen frost from time to time, it does not take long to check your property out for these weeds that have not been affected by the cold season. Plants like leafy spurge may still be actively growing and its best to control these plants now before they store their food source in their roots.
If you have questions about any particular weed, don't hesitate to contact us today.
